In my opinion, Bank Holidays are made for relaxing at home, seeing friends and family, eating delicious food and spending hours exploring the beautiful British countryside. I did a fair bit of all four this weekend and it was divine - Pete and I watched movies, I ventured over to Lincoln to hang out with some blogger pals and made some delicious food including my new favourite thai coconut fish pie and we had some glorious long walks through Bradgate Park and wandered through stunning Calke Abbey.
When I know I'm going to be walking a lot and braving the outdoors of an English springtime I know that comfort is key and so jeans are pretty much always my go to. These are the fabulous Taylor jeans by Simply Be that I wrote about in detail in this post. I've actually found that the vintage blue style for some reason fits me even better than the black and they're now my favourite weekend jeans. This lovely super soft asymmetric tee is a Yours Clothing sale find from my trip to Lincoln on Saturday and these boots are some old favourites. My pretty star necklace added a much needed bit of sparkle and my fave laser cut sunnies completed this snug yet cool ensemble!
