In all honesty I would much rather receive several smaller gifts at Christmas than something huge, although to be honest a lot of that is because our cottage is full to bursting already! Stocking fillers can be a tricky one because you don't want to give someone a load of rubbish that they won't ever use or something that they're likely to buy for themself, so I've put together a list of beautiful and luxurious little treats that are useful and decadent and are sure to bring a smile to your recipient's face!
First up is something that I already have a collection of but always appreciate receiving - sunglasses! Some might find that odd for someone living in the UK where our Summer goes by in the blink of an eye, but I wear sunglasses all year round for dog walking and driving. Sunnies are also an item where I think it's worth investing so you get some that look fabulous, fit properly and do the job they're supposed to. This beautiful pair are my latest obsession, the OBE 4240's in red by Burberry (£150.00*).
These babies are from a new favourite glasses site of mine Eye Wear These - they have a gorgeous range of designer styles of both sunglasses and normal glasses and I find the site really easy to use which I always appreciate when buying eyewear! A pricier stocking filler I know but one that will most definitely be loved and adored.
I love finding local companies and when I absolutely fall in love with one of their products its even better! This candle is genuinely one of the best I have ever had and I am just addicted it's stunning scent. The Velvet Rose & Oud Tin Candle by Seven Scents England (£8.00*) is by a mile the best rose scented fragrance I have found - sweet, sophisticated and just delicious. Although this was my favourite the two ladies that hand made and pour these beauties do a wonderful range of lovely scents including two festive options - Christmas Spice and Mulled Wine and Berries. I'm hoping the biggest three wick version of the rose finds it's way into my stocking this year!

I don't know a single she that doesn't appreciate a beautiful lingerie set and I think it makes a thoughtful and fun stocking filler! As someone whose has thick hair that always lies flat I know first hand how frustrating it can be to get volume into your hair. I'm also a huge fan of the InStyler GLOSSIE Ceramic Styling Brush (£59.99*) which would also make a wonderful prezzy this Christmas!
I shared my favourite floral candle with you earlier, but here is my favourite candle of all time full stop! This is the Holy Smoke Candle by Rituals (£29.50*) and it is an absolute dream. I love dark, smokey, dramatic scents and this is the king of them all - I wish it was a perfume too. Not only does it smell divine but the packaging is stunning too and uses my favourite colour combo of black and gold. I adore the wax seal style detail on the box and candle itself - note that this is an online exclusive, although I did get my last one from their store in St Pancras Station when I missed a train!
You can never have too many lipsticks, especially when it's a true holy grail formula as is the case with the Yves Saint Laurent Tatouage Couture Matte Stain (£29.00 each). This is the definitely the most comfortable to wear liquid lipstick formula I have ever found and the colour pay off is wonderful. Currently available in 18 classic shades with at least one to suit every person, I'm hoping more are released next year in some wilder colours too.
I know I've featured this amazing scarf in an outfit post already but I just couldn't not advise it as an amazing stocking filler. The Costin London Leather Scarf (£310.00*) is just perfect in every way and of the most beautiful quality, I wish I could give one to every woman I know!
My husband and I are huge music fans. I can't imagine a day where I wouldn't listen to at least one album and although Pete and I like a lot of the same music it's nice to be able to stick on my tunes while I'm cooking and not stop Pete being able to hear his own in another room.
