ARANCIA

I'm going to say it, I'm just no willing to put away my Summer wardrobe yet. It's undeniable that its already much colder - my husband and I are thinking of breaking our no central heating until October rule - but it is forecasted to get warmer throughout the next 3-4 weeks so fingers crossed I won't have to put my pretty dresses away just yet. Plus there are always nice cardigans and knee high boots so they can last throughout Autumn too!

This beauty is one of those frocks that I don't want to say goodbye to just yet. This is Lindy Bop's 'Saskia' Polka Dot and Orange Print Swing Dress (£32.00*) and I am completely in love with this gorgeous print! I've always had a penchant for food related prints, especially fruity ones and my favourite vintage frocks were mainly printed with them - there's just something so kitsch and cute about them and the combination of the oranges and the dots here fill me with joy.

The dress itself is a gorgeous swing style with the added detail of the sweet orange folder at the bust that matches the nice wide straps, though these are a little long for me so I need to stitch them shorter as they aren't adjustable. My favourite thing other than the voluminous skirt and darling print is definitely the fully elasticated back panel that makes it an absolute dream to wear. It also means that the sizing is very generous, I definitely could have sized down for a more fitted silhouette.
