If you can't wear a dress printed with an alpine mountain scene at Christmas then really when the hell can you? I've always been a fan of these panoramic print frocks since seeing them in old 1950's movies when I was a kid, so it's really really lovely to finally own one! This is the Renee Green Alpine Print Twin Set (£37.00*) by Lindy Bop which is an undoubted bargain as you don't just get a pretty dress but a matching cap sleeve jacket too!
Both pieces are made of a nice medium weight printed cotton with lovely darting to the waist and bust making the skirt fall fuller and give a flattering boob emphasising boost up top. I went for a size 26 in this set but I would say it is really a 24 - as you can see it is a smidge too tight over my bust and hugs my back chub like a baby koala but that won't stop me wearing it. I'm actually not wearing a bra here as the top was so fitted which was more comfortable than I had imagined it would be, but sadly I couldn't do up the jacket without it gaping over my boobs. I'd definitely recommend sizing up, especially as there is no stretch.
As you see it really is a gorgeous little duo though and would be ideal for a festive meal or get together, perfectly completed with some red pumps and a slick of holly berry red lippy. I'm wearing some lovely Irregular Choice kitten heels here which are sadly past season, but these Altruism Flats (£79.99) by IC are a great alternative!
