BLUEBERRIES & CREAM

If you're looking for the perfect outfit for a day of wandering around Autumn antique fairs, slow walks with your dog and casual pub lunches this may well be it, I'm fully aware that my version of casual isn't the same as most other people's, but to me it means comfortable clothes that don't require accessories and require no adjusting or fixing throughout the day. This is just one of those outfits!

The main piece is obviously this gorgeous Lovedrobe piece, the Koko Longline Knitted Cardigan (£45.00*) which is not only cute and easy to wear with pretty much anything, but is also super toasty making it ideal for those Fall walks that aren't cold enough for a coat but are also not warm enough for no protection at all. It's a mix of wool, cotton and acrylic so you get the benefits of warmth without the fuss of an all wool garment which I love. The pockets are practical and the collar style is great - you can either fold them back for a relaxed look or lay them flat for a more structured, smarter aesthetic. This has become a real essential in my wardrobe over the last few weeks, so much so that I may need to get my hands on the grey version soon too...

For some reason ivories and creams always seem to pair up with blue tone in my mind, so this Tile Print Sleeveless Swing Dress (£8.00) from Simply Be was an obvious choice, also because the lack of sleeves means I won't overheat going from in and outdoors. I actually bought this for my holiday back in September but am still enjoying wearing it which is a bonus, especially as it was such a bargain!

My trusty Evans Cropped Leggings were the obvious choice for supreme comfort levels and it was the perfect opportunity to give my new Dr Martens 1460 Grey Velvet Boots (£100.00*) from Tinfish their first outing! These babies are so so comfy and didn't require any wearing in as they are made from embossed velvet rather than leather. The sheen to them is amazing and I adore the Victorian wallpaper-esque design which worked perfectly with this top. Keep your eyes peeled for a post about the wonderful Tinfish Shoes coming later this week!
