One thing I'm adoring about having black hair is how it seems to make any colour I wear really pop, be it my make up or my clothes. As you may have noticed one of the colours I've really taken to is pale pink and so it's no wonder when I saw this Pink Velvet Sorento Bodycon Dress (£24.95*) at Want That Trend's stall at Curve Fashion Fest I instantly fell in love with it. The wrap style and draped detail to the waistband is just dreamy and works so well with velvet as it hangs beautifully and looks almost like shimmering water when it moves.
I got a size 24 in this dress as it was the largest they had, thankfully despite the fact that this is a size smaller than I usually go for in fitted styles it fit like a dream as there is lots of stretch in it. One thing to note is that the waist is dropped so if you don't wear something under it you'll be looking very busty indeed! Here I'm wearing my beloved Torrid Lace Bandeau ($19.90) so that my bra isn't on show but I actually really like how it looks and that combined with this beautiful F and F Embroidered Bomber Jacket (£29.00) and my shimmery Clarks Glove Echo Trainers (£45.00) make it that bit more casual and very on trend for AW16 as evening dresses with casual jackets is set to be a big thing baby.
Finished with a dash of pale pink lippy and tres casual messy hair this is a look I'd happily wear day or night and is set to be a staple outfit for me this Autumn.
