Lets face it, office wear can be pretty damn boring and all that polyester is less than kind to ones skin. Sure plain black trousers, white blouses, skirt suits and plain panelled dresses can all look chic on the right occasion; but there's just something a bit more special about a dress with an all over print and a contemporary cut.
There's no doubt that this All Over Print Jersey Shirt Dress (£38.90*) by Zizzi at Navabi is one of those special pieces, with a print that is unusual but chic and in a beautiful colour palette of blues, teals and greens. To me the print looks almost like a blue hued version of the mineral malachite but my husband says it reminds him more of a reptile skin. Whatever the case it sure is eye catching and is really allowed to be the focus when used with this simple, slightly bat winged cut. As with all Zizzi pieces the fabric is just dreamy - the jersey is soft and silky against your skin with a weight that hangs beautifully and it washes fabulously with no fading and no need to iron. For under £40 I think you'd be hard pushed to find a more unique and easy to wear dress at this price, especially one of this quality. Yet another win for the ever fabulous Zizzi and a fine addition to Navabi's increasingly impressive offering.
