Feeling Khaki

Dress - Lovedrobe
Jacket - So Fabulous
Bag - New Look
I don't know what it is, the changing weather maybe, but I feel all over the place this week. It's been one of the toughest I've had in a long time due to too many reasons to tell, but I'm hoping that going to see Florence and The Machine tonight in Nottingham will give me some extra happiness and inspiration.

One of the things I've been doing this week to try and relax my fraught mind is trying new outfit and make up combinations as I always find this cheers me up, relaxes me and gives me a good confidence boost. I've been trying to add some new colours into my routine as I've been very black, black and more black recently so it was lovely to give this Sleeveless Wrapover Chiffon Dress (£45.00*) from Lovedrobe a try! I loved the style as soon as I spotted it online - such a simple style but with super chic detailing like the pleating to the shoulders and the shirt like foldover collar which makes this so much more than a simple faux wrapover frock. It also comes in the perfect colour for this style, khaki green or black. To be honest I don't think it would nearly as lovely in bright colours, although a nice charcoal grey could look fantastic! This style is fully lined so you don't have to worry about the sheer nature of chiffon and the waist tie can either be worn as normal to the back or you can do as I did and tie it to the front where the faux wrap is. One thing I would recommend is to size up in this dress - the lining is stretchy but the chiffon is not and it was just a bit too tight over my bum in my usual size. I also had to pin the wrap of the top together for modesty's sake but that's because I have pretty small bewbs compared to most ladies my dress size. Don't be suprised if you see me in the black version very soon too!
