Jeans are a fairly new found love of mine as I only started wearing them again less than a year ago after a years long period of only wearing dresses and skirts. This was mainly because my small waist to big thighs ratio meant that finding jeans that fit was a terrible mission. Joyfully now the industry has realised that us pear shaped and hourglass figured gals need jeans to accommodate our curves there are several places where I can get lovely fitting denim from and I'm very pleased to say that now I can add Yours Clothing to that list!
The pair I have on here are their Grey Acid Wash Denim Jegging With Elasticated Waist (£20.00*) and they are my first foray into the world of the jegging. Made of a lovely stretch denim these jeggings for me perfectly, the ankles not being too baggy and the fit over the calves and thighs being bang on. The elasticated waist means that the ago old excess bit of denim at the back over my bum scenario isn't an issue and I love that the details of front and back pockets are still included like on regular jeans. I'm wearing a size 24 here which is my normal trousers size and they're just right.
I've teamed them with the Black And White Check Tunic With Tie Waist (£25.00*) which I adore - it's made of a super soft non stretch viscose that is cool and smooth against your skin (and a breeze to iron) and the length is just adorable. The large check print I feel gives this piece a great contemporary feel as sometimes check prints can look a bit old hat or a little too Nashville if you know what I mean. Again this is a size 24 and it's really comfortable with lots of room over my hips and a tie at the waist that adds a nice emphasis to that area giving you a more feminine silhouette. The relaxed fit and adjustable length sleeves make this a perfect seasonal transition piece and I know it's going to be a wardrobe staple for me over the next few months.
My sunglasses are an unknown brand that I snapped up at TK Maxx last year, my shoes are my favourite wide fit snake skin slip on skater pumps from Evans back at the start of the year and my bag is an old Firetrap style with a chain link strap.
