Budget Friendly Fashion with George - Outfit 3

Happy Friday you lovely lot! Are you as excited about the weekend as me? I'm having lunch with some lovely ladies tomorrow and it's Mumsy's Day on Sunday so I think it should be a lovely one!

I couldn't help thinking when I put this outfit together that it was a bit Courtney Love with the floral print, wide shoulders and messy blonde hair - I should have worn Doc Martens really to complete the look but sadly I don't have any anymore! Despite the 90's grunge girl tendencies I actually think this would work as office wear too with a jacket and more sensible heels.

The dress itself is made of a nice thick textured fabric with a lovely monochrome floral print offset with neon yellow, although sadly the light at the time of day we took this photo doesn't show that too well. I love the detail of the pockets to the front and the v neck adds a nice feminine touch to this style - the wide shoulders could easily have mae it too boxy and masculine a shape but the neckine softens it well. As I'm fairly tall (about 5'7'' ish) this was fairly short on me, a length that I'd wear leggings with rather than tights, but I think this is an advantage as black tights would have been too much with the predominantly black dress.

Now you'll have to be quick with this one ladies as it's gone down to just £8 on sale, I'm keeping my fingers crossed that it doesn't sell out before this post goes live!
