Hey darlings, I've got another gorgeous piece from The Curve to share with you today! This is their Bell Sleeve Tunic and is a bit of a style revelation for me as I would never usually pick an oversized style or a tunic. I usually favour more fitted designs but as soon as I saw the photo of this baby I loved the floaty sleeves and thought her why not give it a try as I might find it's a style I actually like and bam, I did! Don't you love taking a risk and it paying off?

The tunic itself is a lovely thick non-stretch single layer fabric while the arms are multi layered and in a thinner sheer fabric that hangs just beautifully. The sleeves are my ideal length too as they hit me just below the elbow, yay! When I first got it I thought I'd want to wear jeans or maybe PU leggings with this tunic but when I tried jeans I felt it gave a more casual look than I was looking for and I don't actually have any PU leggings so that scuppered that idea! I grabbed my trusty cropped leggings and kept on my lovely new platform boots and the result was just what I was looking for. I wanted to keep this as monochrome a look as possible and so I grabbed the lovely faux fur stole that my Mother in Law bought me for Christmas and then decided to go the whole hog and throw on the ridiculous giant faux pearl necklace that was an old Primark purchase. As it was a few years ago it's not available anymore but if you were desperate to have one for yourself you could buy this one off eBay and then stick some black ribbon bows on to get the same effect!

If you were interested in my make up on my eyes I used the shades Rosette, Honey and Chinois from the Stila 'In The Garden' Palette with my usual Rimmel Glam Eyes Liner and Benefit 'They're Real' Mascara (no false lashes). The lipstick was a prezzie from my lil sis, it's the shade Pansy from Limecrime's Velvetines range.

Bell Sleeve Tunic - The Curve - £65.00*
Cropped Leggings - ASOS Curve - £8.00
Sole Diva Platform Boots EEE Fit - Simply Be - £24.00 (currently on sale, usually £45!)
Cream Faux Fur Stole - Miss Selfridge - £15.00 (currently on sale, usually £25!)

'Rocking the VBO' (Visible Belly Outline) is a phrase I only learnt recently from gorgeous Gabifresh but I just love it. There were times when I would absolutely no way have worn anything that was fitted enough to show my tum but my journey to body acceptance seems to have taken a boost over the last few months and I've realised that I actually think some of the parts of me I hated before are really cute like my tummy outline! You can imagine how pleased I was then, when this beautiful bodycon dress from The Curve arrived on my doorstep as it was the perfect piece to wear to solidify and make public my acceptance of my stomach chub.

This is the Triangle Cut Out Pencil Dress and it's also available in a lovely bright crimson red. It's a real marvel of a dress, when you see it in person you notice how wonderfully it has been designed and engineered with lots of panels and the cute little cap sleeves. The super sexy cut out is a wonderful little feature and it's curve hugging style make this a real jaw dropper of a dress. One of the things that I love the most about this piece is how thick the fabric is, it's like a thick scuba fabric that has some stretch but it also sturdy so it molds to your shape and helps define and refine it at the same time. This is one of those dresses that is an investment piece as it will never go out of style and could be accessorised for so many occasions be it party time, for something formal or you could even do dressed down sexy by adding a duster coat, scarf and hat and some chunky boots.

I decided emphasise my waist here with a lovely belt from ASOS which is sadly now sold out, but this gemstoney one they have on sale right now would make an amazing substitute! I grabbed my new platform boots which are amazingly comfortable and to keep my warm I threw on this lovely tinsel shrug - seriously, it is very warm because it's completely synthetic but I couldn't resist the sparkle and it's currently only £10 on sale! Last but not least I grabbed this cute little velvety clutch which was a gift from Simply Be, but sadly I can't find on their website.

Triangle Cut Out Pencil Dress - The Curve - £90.00*
Black Tinsel Shrug - New Look - £10.00 (currently on sale, usually £19.99!)
Black and Gold Statement Belt - ASOS Curve - Sold out but more styles here
Sole Diva Platform Boots EEE Fit - Simply Be - £24.00 (currently on sale, usually £45.00!)
Quilted Velvet Clutch Bag - Simply Be - Gift

So I already shared with you the first dress I tried from new brand Monroe Knows a few days ago which was just stunning, but I have to say that this is my favourite of the two that I've tried! It's no secret that I love red and I love classic shapes and this dress combines both making one of the most pretty, flattering and wearable dresses I've seen for a long time.

This is the Amy dress (also available in black and teal) and it's made of a super soft and stretchy berry red viscose fabric. Seriously it's super smooth against your skin and is a great weight so you know it's good quality. The clever ruching to the horizontal panel under the bust is great and adds that all important extra detail to what could easily have been a plain old wrap effect dress. It's a really rich red too, perfect for the festive season and any other season for that matter. I've worn it so many times since I first got it as it's so comfy and great for so many different occasions, I've worn it for work with plain courts and out with some more snazzy shoes and jewellery. It's seriously a perfect dress and it isn't often that I feel I can say that - well done Monroe Knows!

Amy Dress in Red - Monroe Knows - £49.99* (currently on sale, usually £74.99!)
Silver Brogues - Clothing at Tesco - £7.00 (currently on sale, usually £22.00!)
As If Statement Clutch in Silver - Boohoo - No longer available
Silver and Pearl Bow Necklace - Primark - Old

Hi beautifuls! So this was a bit of an unplanned outfit post in that this is what I wore to have lunch with lovely Sophia and Charlotte on Sunday. I was actually planning to shoot this top/dress from Boohoo Plus with some wet look leggings and heels in a super party party style but I loved how it worked with jeans and boots so much I decided to just shoot the outfit when I got home from out lunch date!

Now, what I am wearing here as a top is actually meant to be a dress but because I have quite a long body it was just too short for me to wear that way but it makes an absolutely wonderful long line top! The photos on the store site really don't do this baby justice, it's so so sparkly and the fit is just dreamy - nice and relaxed and with generous and nice length little sleeves. It skims right over your lumps and bumps and the v neck is very cute - not something I would usually say!!! I know you've already seen these jeans a few times but they're my favourite as they're so stretchy and soft and to add to the comfort factor I popped on my new multi texture ankle boots from Simply Be - I went on a bit of an ankle boot splurge at Simply Be last week and ordered four pairs, three of which I have kept... oops!

Unfortunately this little bag isn't available to buy as it was a lovely gift from the Boohoo PR team, but isn't it cute?! It came with some lovely tea bags too to help get rid of a hangover and brighten your skin - perfect for this time of year!

Amelie Sequin Stripe V Neck Shift Dress - Boohoo Plus - £20.00* (currently on sale, usually £25!)
Sole Diva Low Ankle Boot EEE Fit - Simply Be - £36.00 (currently on sale, usually £45!)
Boohoo Clutch Bag - Gift

I'm so so pleased when a new plus size brand like Monroe Knows comes on the scene. I have two of their dresses and both are stunning designs made with gorgeous fabrics and both are so utterly classic and wearable for so many occasions! The dress I was first drawn to was this wiggle dress, it has a real vintage bombshell feel with all the ruching and the cut is super sexy. I decided to wear it here with a kind of modern vintage mash up with a classic faux fur coat (the softest loveliest one ever!) brought up to date with a bold stripe. Accessories wise I went for platform boots giving a nod to the 1970's, a classic clutch with a glitzy fun statement design and a sparkly headband and pearl earrings that scream 1920's. I feel like this outfit really sums up mystyle - old school glamour brought up to date with unusual and kooky little touches because hey, it's good to be different!

Amber Wiggle Dress in Black - Monroe Knows - £49.99* (usually £74.99 but currently on sale!)
Josephina Striped Faux Fur Coat - Boohoo Plus - £40.00* (usually £60.00 but currently on sale!)
Sole Diva Platform Boots EEE Fit - Simply Be - ££27.00 (usually £45.00 but currently on sale!)
Arm Candy Clutch Bag - Littlewoods - £25.00
Pearl and Crystal Hair Band - Old

You know, it is very very rare that I ever buy a piece of clothing from Primark. Not because I don't like the pieces they sell but because I find them kinda ungenerous in their sizing so things just don't look right, usually because the arms are too tight. Every now and again though you can find a real gem and this tee is just that. Sure princesses are great, but baddies have more style and so when I heard that Primark were doing a Disney Villains tee I knew I had to find one. To be honest I didn't hold out much hope because I trawled two big stores and just couldn't find it, but then one day a few weeks ago in my little small town local store when I had almost forgotten about it - there it was! I was so happy I grabbed the last size 20 and rushed straight to the tills to bag my prize without even trying it on. Thankfully when I got home and gave it a go I was really pleased to find that not only did it fit but it was generous enough for me to wear it as a long tee and not have to tuck it in like I had expected! Bonus! It's a lovely soft tee, my only gripe is that it's a kind of washed out print and I would have preferred the colours to be more bold - I hope it holds up in the wash.

Here I'm wearing the tee with some lovely distressed denim jeans that I found in Evans, they're nice and comfy and as they're a pear fit they actually stay in place without me having to pull them up every two minutes, hooray! I'm also wearing my favourite (as you can tell) boots which are also an Evans purchase from about two years ago. I still wear them really regularly and they just go with pretty much anything - the perfect ankle boot!

To keep the chill off I threw on my favourite long berry cardigan from Tesco which is super soft and comfy and to complete the look I grabbed my trusty Irregular Choice clutch that my MIL bought me earlier this year. I love the two tone fabric and the lining is a gorgeous teal velvet. It's a great size too so I can actually use it for daytime and not just a night out when I only need cash, keys and a lipstick. Finally I decided to throw on a really old necklace that I felt went with the Disney theme as it proclaims 'true love' which if Disney has taught us anything, conquers all.

Disney Villains Tee - Primark - £6.00 (in store only)
Wide Fit Heeled Ankle Boots - Evans - Old but they have lots more styles here
Supersoft Long Berry Cardigan - Clothing at Tesco - Old but more styles here
Purple Flick Flack Clutch Bag - Irregular Choice - Old but available here in black, green or bronze
True Love Necklace - Unknown Brand - Old

I'm a very lucky lady because the place I work for has an old fashioned Christmas shut down. This means that I get nearly two weeks off at Christmas, which makes it even more special than it usually would be. It also means that I have lots of time to potter about in my little kitchen cooking up delicious meals and treats for my friends and family, which is one of my absolute favourite things to do. I've already started collecting recipes to try and so I thought I'd share a few with you in case you're a kitchen potterer too!
