Remember this floral dress from That Day that I was (am) so in love with? Well I have another gorgeous piece for you today from the lovely That Day team and again it fuses classic vintage design with an updated style to flatter your curves making it in my mind at least another perfect piece of clothing!
This time I'm sharing with you the gorgeous Black Lace Trim Dress which features beautiful panels of lace, some sheer and some lined, cut to give a very Art Deco style to the upper portion of the dress. I just adore the angles of the sheer panels over the chest, they give such a great shape and it's such a gorgeous unusual design compared to the standard sweetheart shape that you would have expected. The dress itself hits just above the knee on my 5'7'' frame so I like to team it with leggings. The semi sheer overlay to the skirt section is lovely and floaty and features flattering pleating over the tum which is lined perfectly with the central lace section over the best. It is truly an outstanding design and I know that I'll be wearing it ever such a lot over the next few months (and probably forever).
As it's a wee bit nippy at the mo I decided to team the dress with my new favourite cover up, my black crepe jacket from Evans which I grabbed in the sale plus some sparkly pumps and a pearl and gold crows foot necklace - I wanted to take it a little creepy. Speaking of sales, this gorgeous dress and the jacket are both on sale at Evans right now so rush on over now if you want to buy them for yourself!
Oh and my lipstick here is the MAC Viva Glam Rihanna 2 which is gorgeous on it's own like I'm wearing it here or over the top of another shade to make it dark and sparkly - it's a wonderful lippy!
