Swish swish! Oh how I've wanted a fringey dress for so long so I could shimmy through a room with a perfectly plum pout and a coupe of champagne imagining I'm a blonde Clara Bow! I know not everyone wants to be a silent move star like me but if you're on the market for a super comfortable and non sparkly party dress this season this baby might just be what you've been looking for!
Soft and silky feeling, this dress is comfort to the max and features a nice round neckline and below the knee length. While showing a bit of cleavage or leg isn't a big deal to me I know some ladies prefer a style that is more modest and for them this would be the perfect choice. It's also very generous in it's sizing and the fringing is really flattering over the tummy, I could have very easily sized down on this one (in fact that may have given me a better fit over the bust). Like all Taking Shape dresses the fabric used here is wonderful quality and feels lovely and soft against your skin, it also has a decent bit of stretch so like I say, sizing down may be a good bet to get the best fit. I really like the added feature of the laser cut out pattern on the bottom of the top overlay that adds another later of prettiness to this already gorgeous dress.
I've teamed this jazz age style beauty with a sparkly tinsel shrug and some platform sandles and to be in keeping with my flapper girl dream I added a vintage pearl and diamante choker and a diamante beaded headband making it even more of a party ready outfit!
