As soon as I saw the gorgeous sunset coloured floral print of this dress I knew that I'd found a pretty unusual party dress and then when I spotted it's name I knew it had to be mine! This is the Briar Rose Dress (£99.00*) from Taking Shape and it's just a delight! I love Sleeping Beauty so naturally the name appealed to me!
The mock wrap top is beautiful set off perfectly by the black mesh cowl neck which is detailed with shimmery black gemstones, as is the super cute bow at the waist. There's more ruching to the skirt which is ever so flattering to the tummy and the skirt is nice and full giving it a great shape. It's a lovely stretchy fabric and like with the other Taking Shape style I posted about last week the fit is really generous and I easily could have sized down one. My favourite part is definitely the print though, a firey photo realistic rose print with hints of fuchsia and violet. You can bet your bottom dollar that no-one else will turn up in a dress like this to your office Christmas party so if you want to make a splash go ahead and get your bod into this gorgeous gown!
