The Eye & Mighty Eyelash Curler from Bella and Bear

Hello beautifuls! I've mentioned it many times before but I think it's worth repeating - your eyes show the most expression of any part of your face. You can tell if a smile is real by looking at someones eyes, they show the real happiness not the lips. There are a few tricks you can use to make your eyes look big, sparkly and bright (I'll be going into this in more detail in another post soon) and one of them is to make sure you curl your lashes before applying mascara to make sure they're as long and lifted as possible.

I've tried quite a few different lash curlers before now, heated ones, cheap ones, kinda pricey ones. The only real difference I have noticed this far isn't really in how well they curl your lashes but how comfortable they are in your hand and the quality of the mechanism. Cheap ones always feel cheap and to be honest I'm a little scared of the heated ones. The last expensive pair I bought (£25) actually lasted less time than my cheap ones with part of the mechanism breaking and getting lost as it was so tiny.

I'm really pleased with the pair from Bella and Bear. They're called the Eye and Mighty Eyelash Curler and they're currently on sale for £12.99*. As with all Bella and Bear products they come beautifully packaged in a cute shabby chic style box which also includes a little gift card for a nice discount off your next purchase. The curlers themselves are made from a nice, good quality metal and the handles are a gorgeous metallic cherry red. They have a bit of a brushed finished which makes them nice and grippy and the feel really comfortable and secure in your hands when you use them. The handles are also shaped more like scissors so they feel more familiar in your hands which I think helps you get used to using them much quicker than if they just had plain finger loops!

As you can see from the photos below they do make a great difference - I think they make my lashes a great lift and curl boost so they look much better than if I'd just used mascara on its own!

Do you usually use a lash curler? If not have you ever tried one?
