I'm so so pleased to be putting another outfit post up right now! I've
been completely out of whack for the last few weeks, every outfit I shot
just didn't look right and ended up in the digital scrap heap - I
really thought I had lost my fashion mojo! Thankfully I seem to have got
it back thanks to the combo of a cute dress, some courts and a sweet
little beret.
This knitted dress by Alice and You to me is the perfect spring piece. It features short sleeves to let you enjoy the new season sun but also a midi length and high neck and as its made of a nice stretchy knit fabric it keeps you warm but protected from any the wind chill while letting you look still cute and relaxed. The stretch and heavyweight feel of the fabric is great and it fits your body shape wonderfully. The double layer style is one that I personally love as it is a look all of it's own in just one piece as it looks so much more than just a single piece of clothing - lazy girl style for the win! You don't really even need any accessories, just a slick of your favourite lippy (and colour will work with this lovely shade of grey) and you're good to go!
This was my first Alice and You experience and I must say it was a good one - the sizing is bang on, the fabric and zipper are really good quality and the design is classic yet contemporary. It's safe to say more of their pieces will be entering my wardrobe very soon!
