Hi loves! Well last week was a very busy one and I still don't think I've recovered, I am so in  need of an early night but I can never make myself do it. If you remember please tweet me tonight and tell me to go to bed early!

My purchases this week are a very mixed lot - clothes, jewellery, beauty, music, art and a magazine. Lets start with clothes and jewellery...

So we all know I'm a fan of lip printed stuff after last week's posts so naturally when this Lip Print Boyfriend Tank popped up when I checked the new in's at Simply Be last week I had to have it, especially as it's only £12! It's available in a nice black and white stripe too and is long with a dipped back, naturally I'll be wearing it tucked into a pencil skirt as is my want but if you're a jeans gal this would look lovely over some skinnies.

Second up is this lovely floral necklace from Roam at New Look - unfortunately I can't find it online but it was £6 and there are matching earrings available too. The white with pale purple gems caught my eye immediately and I was very pleased that it was on a gold chain as I don't really wear silver any more. FOr six quid I thought it was a bit of a bargain and as it isn't too huge I think I'll wear it more often than I would a bigger statement necklace.

Now on to art, I bought this signed and numbered print at the Brody Dalle show I went to in Birmingham on Saturday with my mayun and gorgeous friend Anne. It was an amaaaazing show, I loved Brody since I first heard The Distillers at about age 14 so it was amazing to see her live and back on form again after such a long absence. As I don't often wear band shirts any more I love that you can get screen prints at a lot of shows now and it's my gig souvenir of choice. One day I'll do a little tour of our house and you'll see how many prints we have on the walls, it's going to be a nightmare when we move filling in and painting over all the holes, ach! You can buy the artist proof of this print from Jacknife's online store here.

Not shown in another picture is Martha Stewart Living Magazine which I have bought every month for the last three and a half years. It's a great mix of lifestyle, interior design, craft, food and recipes and beauty and is a really inspiring thing to get every month. I'm lucky enough that my local WH Smith sells it bu you can order it online here. Note - is anyone else annoyed that this year it's coming to the UK at the end of each month so if it features a holiday it's already gone by the time we get it?

This was a little Tesco beauty aisle purchase - why do I walk down there when I know I will always find a polish or lipstick I can't resist?!

I wish I had seen these Maybelline 'Street Artist' top coats earlier as most of the other colours are now sold out, but I do love this one White Splatter. It looks great over pale purple and you only need one coat to get the level of cover I have in the photo above.

Last but not least, a band called The Beaches supported Brody on Saturday night and I bought their EP which they kindly signed for me. They were really amazing live, unfortunately recorded it loses a bit of the raw power and strength behind the lead singer's voice, but it's still pretty good.

Did you buy anything lovely this weekend? Do tell!

Well what a treat this was! A few weeks ago the lovely folks at Simply Be sent me a very exciting invitation to dinner to look at their new collaboration collection with a fashion magazine, they didn't say who it was when the invites first when out which only added to my excitement! The dinner was to be held at Balthazar in Covent Garden which tipped my excitement factor over the edge as I've wanted to eat there for such a long time after hearing such great things about the New York restaurants.

So after work on the 23rd I jumped on a train to London where I met lovely Rosie at the station and we whizzed to Covent Garden on the tube. I can tell you, although I loved what I wore (the outfit in my last post) it may not have been the best choice as it was hot as all hell on the tube and in the reception room at Balthazar! We arrived to a room already full of beautiful blogger babes, the Simply Be and Look magazine girlies and their PR teams and had a wonderful chat and look at the Look collection before sitting down to dinner. Boy is the private dining room at Balthazar beautiful, all glossy embossed tiles and dark wood with patina'd walls and Art Deco-esque lighting!

The meal was just amazing as I'd expected and I was sat with some lovely ladies Katie, Becky, Charlotte and Sarah, some who I had met before and some who I hadn't. The evening just flew by and before I knew it people were starting to leave, I ended up having a lovely walk back to Leicester Square with Lauren, Katie, Danielle and Callie. It was raining a little but the city is so beautiful at night that it didn't matter, and then back on the train I was zooming back to little Loughborough.

It was a marvellous evening and I'd like to thank Simply Be and Look Magazine so much for invited me, and thank you to all the other lovely bloggers who made it such a fabulous event. Now, here is the Look collection for you to peruse, I'm happy to report that all the pieces were just as beautiful if not even more beautiful in person. It's a great mix of styles I think with some really on point pieces like the jumpsuit, midi skirt and duster coat which are all key looks for the upcoming season. Keep your eyes peeled for my review of the lovely prom dress which will be up in the next few weeks!

You can view the look book here and shop the collection here.

That's right guys, a PU crop top. In plus sizes. Thank you The Curve! As soon as I spotted it on their website I fell in love, but had no idea what I'd team it with. I knew that it would look great with the bolero jacket from the same collection but as I'm a pear shape I needed a bigger size than was available in the matching skirt, so needed to find another option. I was really excited to spot the bolero by the way, I've been trying to find a short jacket for some time as they look best with my short torso, but I've had a hard time finding one that wasn't a bit 'mumsy' so was thrilled when I spotted this bad boy!

I can't tell you how impressed I am with these two pieces from The Curve. Firstly they arrived beautifully packaged in a black box and wrapped in tissue paper with a cute little card. I think some companies underestimate the power of good packaging. If you've ever treated yourself to a fancy purchase you'll know how nice it is to see it being lovingly wrapped up and placed in a pretty box and bag for you. It also shows that the company cares about the product when they take the time to protect it in something substantial so it's safe and sound on it's way home. Good quality boxes also mean you have storage for your posh purchase so you can keep it safe at home too, and obviously it adds that extra touch of class that you want when you're spending a little more on something.

But it wasn't just the packaging that impressed me, the quality of the jacket and crop top really blew me away. The stitching is all beautiful and the fabrics are thick and luxurious feeling with details like the gold zip on the crop top tipping it over the edge. These pieces feel and look really special and I would have expected higher price tags for such well made and unusual pieces - the crop top comes in at £39.00 and the bolero jacket at £55.00.

I really really love this outfit, when I've described it to people I've had a couple of odd looks but when I've shown them they've all loved it and I feel surprisingly comfortable in it. Isn't it amazing how if you think you look good you get a crazy confidence boost? The magic of fashion!!!

This week has been a big one for wearing stuff that I never dreamed I would be confident to wear and I want to send out a quick thank you to everyone for saying such lovely things about my swimwear post. One of the best things I've found about blogging is the support and kindness we all share with each other, it's a shame that there are so many people out there that don't get that support in their everyday life. I love complimenting people cause I love making people happy which in turn makes me feel good, it's a win win situation. Why not try giving someone a compliment at least once a day and see how great it makes you both feel?

One thing I will always remember from my trips to Denmark to visit family when I was younger is how stylish and well dresses everyone in Copenhagan seemed. It's such a clean and beautiful city, full of wonderful little boutiques and stores, but what I did notice was that I could not fit into anything I saw for sale. There were no plus sizes in sight in the lovely little shops, so I wondered where the curvy Danish ladies shopped. You can imagine how pleased I was when I found Carmakoma, a Danish plus size brand run by the beautiful Heidie and Angelica. Here I share some of my favourite pieces from Carmakoma.com.

My first picks and my favourites from the current collection are the Flowerbomb jacket and Flowerwood trousers. Finding a suit in plus sizes that doesn't make you look dowdy is a bit of a feat so when I spotted this wonderfully modern design paired with an amazing bright floral print I was blown away! The jacket has a fab asymetrical zip closure like a biker jacket and peplum like peating to the lower back and I adore the relaxed fit and black panels to the trousers. There's also a lovely Flowerspencer dress in the same print.

Next up I just adore the combination of the super feminine Salfords lace top with the sexy edgy Soap skirt.

The Earley coat is so elegant and the subtle tulip shape is so beautiful. The length and style remind me of a 1960's duster coat but the quilted PU sleeves and asymetric zip bring it right up to date.

I'm not really sure when I would wear the Fareham dress as it's a little shorter than I would like for work but a little dressier than I would wear on a night out on the town, but I adore it. Perhaps a relaxed few drinks at a bar or dinner out. But anyway, the monochrome panelling gives a great illusion style that you usually only see on bodycon dresses but I think works really well on this less fitted shape and the exposed zipper is a great detail too.

I have to admit, bodysuits are never something I have found very attractive and I've never wanted to wear one before, but I just can't resist the Ibis bodysuit in polka dot. It's super cute and the lace detailing makes it super sexy. You can also get it in plain black too. You can also get some cute matching polka dot Canley shorts too!

Here are three beautiful dresses that I would be keen to add to my workwear wardrobe. I love the futuristic feel of the Andover dress with it's mesh and PU panels and structures shoulders.

The Glory dress over the Erantis roll neck sweater would be a great Autumn look and the Luton monochrome print shift is ideal for the warmer weather. I think it looks just great with the colour pop from the shoes.

Do you have any favourite pieces from Carmakoma?

Hi guys! Oh boy do I love this outfit! It's offensively pink and kitsch-y and a little vintage-y and basically the kind of outfit I have always dreamed of owning but never found in plus sizes - thank you so much Simply Be for making my fatshion dreams come true!

As soon as I saw the lip print midi skirt I knew I must own it, but I was a lil nervous about how it would fit so didn't order it straight away. Thankfully (and meaningfully I think) my local Simply Be store got it into stock so I got to try it on, suss out the fit and know which size to order - I didn't buy it in store because I had a discount code and there were some other bits I needed to order with it that weren't in store.

The skirt itself is made of lovely thick, stretchy fabric with a slight sheen and it my ideal length - midi so it sits just below the knee. I think this length is feminine and classy and looks great with pretty much any shoe be it heels or flats. It can also be worn high waisted as I have here again giving a girly and 1950's-esque vibe that is oh so flattering to a larger tummy like mine. It's priced at £25 which I think is a steal for such a well made and on trend piece.

I decided to team it here with the cropped pink sweater which I've been eyeing up for some time for a cutesy day look. I think the sweater is over the top adorable and the Barbie lipstick shade of nearly neon pink rocks my socks off and fits this season perfectly, as do the dropped sleeves and slightly dipped hem at the back. I will be wearing this A LOT over the coming months.

When it come to accessories I wore two new necklaces, firstly the long gold geometric cage necklace that I found in New Look and then a pretty plain gold tag style necklace from Top Shop which was an option for my SIL's wedding last weekend that I didn't go with in the end. As for shoes I popped on some patent brogue style slip ones that were a Clothing at Tesco buy a few months ago and the bag I bought from TK Maxx years ago when I was really into rockabilly and kustom kulture.

Keep your eyes peeled for my post on Thursday when I'll be wearing the skirt in a different ensemble for a night out on the town!

Well, this is terrifying isn't it? I never thought that I would post photos in a swimsuit, it highlights all the parts of my body that I'm not exactly thrilled with and the thought of it terrified me. Then I gave myself a bit of a kick, and I went back and read Leah's Love Every Body posts over again and got the confidence boost to take the photos. But back to the reason for the post...

Hopefully you saw my post last week about my whirlwind trip to London to interview Liz McClarnon about her gorgeous new swimwear range and this week I'm doing a little review of two of the pieces!

First up we have my favourite piece from the collection, the super fun cherry print swim dress. Now I have a kind of tricky time with swimsuits as I have am the peariest pear shaped lady ever - I have a really small bust and a big tum and hips so finding something that fits both my top and bottom can be kinda hard. I think with the swimdress I chose the right size, my bust felt safely contained and I think if I had sized up I wouldn't have felt to secure! I think the sizing is true on the swimdress so I'd go for your normal size if you aren't crazy pear shaped like moi.

I absolutely adore the beautiful blue and the cherry print is crazy adorable, it's so nice to find a swimsuit in a bright, bold colour that is available in plus sizes. The fabric is thick and great quality, I don't predict any see through swimsuit issues like you can get with cheaper, poor quality options. This baby will last you well.

Next up I tried the flamingo print swimsuit, again with an amazingly cute and Summery print. This one I needed to size up on, the fit over my tummy and butt (teehee) was fine, but it was far too small on the bust and squished my taters flat. If you are generously proportioned up top, I would definitely size up on this one. But on a big plus side, it has built in cups for extra support and help to get a flattering bust shape and removable straps so if you fancy going strapless and avoid tan stripes you can!

I also tried out this lovely cover-up kaftan from Simply Yours, I really love the gradient and the peachy pink goes perfectly with the flamingo print! The shape is so lovely and flattering and I couldn't help but swish around in it a little when I put it on, it was just the right length on me hitting mid thigh and giving the extra layer of comfort that I'd want when walking around on the beach.

As I've said before I just adore this collection and I can't wait to see the lingerie range that Liz and Fashion World will be bringing out later this year! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for more adorable prints and bright colours!

Long weekends, is there any thing better? So far we even have nice weather here in Loughborough which I'm really appreciative for, I need to get a lot of outfit photos done this weekend which have built up over the last couple of weeks while I've been busy preparing stuff for my lovely sister in law's wedding last weekend.

As I have two extra days to play around this weekend I decided a little shopping trip to Leicester would be a nice Good Friday excursion and my lovely friend Lil and her sister Hannah came along too. It was a lovely day out and we were shopping for waaay longer than we have expected, we were out for like 6 hours which was a little crazy but we did squeeze a quick lunch and an afternoon coffee and cake break in too!

I got some lovely bits and bobs and so thought I'd share them with you, starting with the offensively bright pink cropped short sleeve sweater which I have been waiting to go into the sale at Simply Be! I immediately loved it when I spotted it online but when I saw beautiful Gemma rocking it at the Anna Scholz event in February I knew I must own it too. It's £35 full price which I thought was a little steep for such a little sweater even if it is super adorable, but it was in the sale in the Leicester store today for £17.50 so in my bag it went!

Next up was this lovely delicate geometric cage necklace from New Look. It was £4.99 but unfortunately doesn't appear to be online yet. It's a lovely long length and looked fab with the black and white striped tee that I was wearing on the day. It's a lot more modern a design than most of my jewellery as I tend to go for classic styles or cutesy novelty designs, but I really really love it and I know I'll be adding to a lot of my spring outfits.

Very handily right next door to Simply Be in the Highcross is Paperchase. I had gone in a few weeks ago to see if the mid year diaries were in yet but they'd been delayed so I wasn't really expecting to find them this time either, but low and behold there they were and they had the beautiful metallic rose design which I had been eyeing up online. It's a fair bit bigger than diaries I've had in the past but give lots of room for each day - I've decided I want to be much more organised with blogging from now on so having this extra room should give me the space I need to plan my posts ahead of time using little post it notes. There's a handy pocket in the back too that I can pop notes, magazine cuttings and business cards into which will get lots of use for sure.

The only things I had actually planned on investing in on my trip into town was another pot of my favourite finishing powder and a new eyeliner, but Boots are currently doing a 3 for 2 on make up so I grabbed another tube of my current mascara of preference. I also printed off a coupon for any Seventeen eye shadow half price from the magic advantage card machine so grabbed this lovely pinky bronze shade called Rose Quartz.

On a side note, have Bourjois stopped producing Liner Pinceau in black? The lady in store scared me by saying she thinks it's been discontinued and that's my go to liner! Ach!

Last but not least, I cannot walk past a Hotel Chocolat withough buying some selectors. I treated myself to my favourite Pistachio Praline Crunches, grabbed some Salted Caramel Milk Chocolate Almonds for Pete and a packet of Pecan Pralines for us to share. They're £3.85 a packet but if you buy three or more the price drops to £3.25 a packet, so naturally that justifies in my mind that I have to get three rather then two... damn you brain!

What a lovely day out it was - have you got any plans for the long weekend?

Ah the infamous OCC Lip Tar. I've wanted to try it for oh so long but hadn't seen a colour which made me desperate to go out and buy one, that is until I spotted Black Metal Dahlia. One of the Lip Tar Metallic range it is a desperately deep plum-like shade that I would have killed for back in my goth days, and still would now so it seems!

Having had a swatch of two of the standard Lip Tar shades at my lovely friend Sophia's house last week I was aching to get my hands on a tube of Demure when I made a quick stop trip to Selfridge's beauty room last week but came up short as it was sold out (as it appears to be everywhere *cry*). I had decided to go for Demure over Black Metal Dahlia as my first Lip Tar purchase because I thought it a more wearable colour for me and I like the matte finish it dried into, but as I say it was not meant to be so I grabbed this baby and boy am I glad I did!

Each Lip Tar comes in a little clear plastic pouch with a small lip brush and a little instruction card. I was actually pretty impressed with the lip brush as it was nice and soft but still allowed a really good amount of control despite its size and I didn't find it tricky to achieve a nice sharp line.

The product itself is easy to apply as it comes in a tube with a fine tip, I just squeezed a little directly onto my lower lip and went in with the brush to spread it out evenly and then to get a nice sharp outline squeezed a teensy amount directly onto the brush before applying very carefully to my lip line.

One thing that really impressed me about this Lip Tar was the texture and weight of it. It didn't feel sticky and my lips didn't feel coated in goo as they do with most standard glosses (this is a tar not a gloss after all) and I was expecting a little grittiness from the metallic, delicately glittery finish but I didn't experience any. I can't say that my lips felt like there was nothing on them, but you couldn't claim that with most normal lipsticks, however I must say the lightness and comfort of the product teamed with its bold colour coverage really impressed me.

The one thing I will be doing is buying a lip liner in a similar colour as I did experience a little colour bleeding after a while. This wasn't exactly unexpected with a liquid product especially as this one doesn't dry to a matte finish as the original Lip Tar's do, and a quick application of lip liner added before the product is brushed on should sort that out for next time.

Yes, I have blurred everything other than the lips on this one. I have PCOS which makes my face very peach fuzzy and my skin is pretty pore-y and awful up close, especially with flash. So sue me.

I must say, I am really really in love with this colour and its impressive metallic finish. A beautiful dramatic shade which would suit make skin tones and hair colours, it is the perfect shade to add a classy but eye catching detail to your spring make-up look. Who says dark shades are only for the fall?!

You can find details of all Lip Tar shades at the OCC website here.

I purchased mine from Selfridges on Oxford Street (they are located next to the Nails Inc polishes in a stand alone display stand) but you can also order them online here.

Hi my lovelies! Well I have a first for you today on the blog, a shoe review! I was really excited when the lovely people at Yoma contacted me as they are the first independent company I have worked with and also the first shoe company I have reviewed a product for. I headed to their website and fell in love with many a pair of pretty sandals. They all remind me of the type of shoe I imagine Frida Kahlo would have worn while strolling around one of her beautiful homes in Mexico on a hot sunny day wearing a gorgeous bright floaty dress and lots of giant flowers in her hair!

Yoma are based in Brighton (which most of you know is one of my favourite places in the UK) in the North Laines, somehow I've never actually been in to the shop but I'll make sure I head in on my next visit. Yoma stock a wonderful range of shoes, bags, scarves, wallets and other accessories. Everything has a quirky and cute vibe and a lot of the shoe styles would look really at home with a vintage outfit - after all a lot of ladies in the 1950's wore leather sandals in the hot weather, although I don't think most of them were as pretty as Yoma's!

I decided to try the Bice Multi Coloured Flower Shoe and went for a size 8 - if I can get a wide fitting size I'm actually a 7, but I find that with regular fit shoes if I size up by one I usually get a good fit which was indeed the case with these babies.

When the parcel arrived I ripped off the packing paper and was greeted with a beautiful bright red patterned shoe box which was sturdy enough (and pretty enough) for me to use as proper storage for the shoes in the future. I hate flimsy, ugly shoe boxes with a passion and it annoys me that they still exist as it means you have to find another way to keep your fancy shoes in good condition when stored.
Anyhoo, I opened up the crimson box and that lovely leather scent was unleashed instantly letting me know that these would be durable and well made sandals. Each shoe was loving packed into a protective fabric bag and then wrapped in tissue, and on pulling each one out I was greeted with an array of bright coloured stripes against a black background. It was such a pretty sight, my mother in law and I spent a good few minutes oohing and aahing over how lovely they were with their neat white stitching and little bugs punched into the leather.

When I finally went to try them on I was a little nervous that my wide feet wouldn't slip into them, but I was pleasantly surprised to find that they were a near perfect fit - not tight around the ball of my foot so my feet didn't bulge through the straps and at a nice, comfortable height that would be more than manageable for a sunny day stroll, also aided by the ankle strap to stop them getting left behind in the sand!

I can definitely see me wearing these a lot through the summer and judging by the excellent craftsmanship I'm convinced that they'll last me a good few years. I'm keeping my eyes peeled in case the yellow colour way comes back in stock in my size too as that little red flower is calling my name! Hopefully I'll be adding those and the other three styles below to my shoe collection in the near future - I can't wait to see what new styles Yoma bring out later in the year!

You can buy the Bice sandal in black here and find the full Yoma sandal collection here.

If you join the mailing list here you'll also get 10% off your next order!

One thing which always daunts me is swimwear. I see lots of super cute swimming costumes and bikinis in regular stores but can never seem to find something cute but comfortable in my size that I'd actually like to wear when heading to the pool - until now! Fashion World have come up with another amazing celebrity collection this time with the absolutely lovely Liz McClarnon of Atomic Kitten fame, who has designed a gorgeous and fun range of swimwear.

Naturally, I just adore the prints - so bold and bright and kitschy cute with cherries, flamingos and daisies some of the stalwarts of 50's pin up clothing. I was lucky enough to be invited by Fashion World to head to London to interview Liz about the collection and any other topics I could think of! I headed to London on a sunny Wednesday afternoon and headed to 45 Park Lane (with a quick pit stop to Selfridges beauty room to grab a new MAC lippy and an OCC Lip Tar) - it was really warm in the sun and I complete misjudged how far down Park Lane the hotel was so I arrived a bit of a shiny faced mess, but hey what can you do. I arrived to find lovely Sally, Hollie and Lucie sitting in the reception area (Anna-Lise joined us later too) and sat having a lovely chat before I headed upstairs to see Liz in her suite.

The hotel 45 Park Lane was stunning and full of contemporary art!

It was just lovely to see how excited Liz was about the collection - she is amazingly fun, warm and friendly by the way - her favourites from the collection are the cherry swimsuit and the daisy bikini. When I mentioned how much I loved the cute prints Liz said she had been really nervous when pitching them to the design team as they are pretty bold and out there compared with what you usually see on plus size swimwear, but thankfully (for me and her!) they loved them and gave the go ahead straight away.

Liz had clearly considered how well the designs would suit us plus size gals when putting the collection together - she told me that the ruched sides to the bikini bottoms can be adjusted so they can either be high rise to cover a little more tummy or adjusted so they aren't as wide and look more like a regular bikini bottom. I like the swim dresses the best as they cover up my tum and are flattering to my back area and I was so pleased to see that the dress was available in all three prints - keep your eyes peeled as I'll be reviewing two of them very soon!

I asked Liz if she had been nervous shooting in the swimwear, I had read interviews with her previously when she said she had always hated those kind of shoots when she was with the Kittens and she told me that although she had been nervous because this collection was her baby so to speak and she was so proud of it, she felt more confident and knew that she had to look comfortable and happy in the photos to make people believe in and want to purchase from the collection. Liz was so honest and lovely about everything, she's a peach!

My last question about the range was why did she choose to do it with Fashion World? It turns out that Liz and her family had all been buying from Fashion World for a few years now as you could find pretty, affordable pieces to suit all the shapes and figures of her family so when they approached her about the line she was ecstatic. I think it really is truly wonderful that now there are shops offering the same styles in both regular and plus sizes rather than offering both size options but with completely different clothes. Liz's collection starts at a size 12 and goes up to a 32 so gives a really wide range of ladies the chance to grab a cute piece for the beach!

I also took the opportunity to ask Liz a few non-swimwear related questions! Naturally I asked a few food related questions as I'd seen Liz on Masterchef, she says that her friends always request beef wellington when they come for dinner and she's made it so many times she's a pro at it, but one of her favourite things to eat is her Mum's cheese and broccoli soup - we both said how strange it is that neither of us can make soups quite as well as our Mums!

When asked if there is a beauty product she just can't live without Liz told me about a lady called Jenny Harding and her Dynasty Clinic which offers skincare solutions for eczema and acne prone skin. Liz had such trouble with eczema on her face for years before she was recommended Jenny and her appointment there was a revelation - after just one facial session her skin had improved dramatically and after using some of her products at home fr a few days her eczema was nearly all gone. I have trouble with acne and Liz recommended the same cream she uses which is called Pink Heaven which can be applied at night time and also worn under make up - I'll definitely be giving it a go!

I had an absolute blast on my short trip to London meeting Liz and some of my PS blogger babe friends, thank you so much Fashion World for inviting me to take part! Keep your eyes peeled on Lucie's blog as she'll be posting a video of us all discussing the collection soon.

Kimono Jacket  -  Dress  -  Shoes  -  Bangles  -  Earrings

Hello my darlings! I have another selection of summer clothes for you all today this time from purse friendly high street lovelies New Look!

Up top I've put together a glam-tastic outfit just perfect for a night out at a beach bar with your boo. I adore lattice necklines ever since I saw the wonderful Alika dress from Bettie Page, but this takes that gorgeous gown and whisks it into a more casual style perfect for strutting down the boardwalk. Teamed with this killer animal print jacket and wooden platform heels you'll look effortlessly chic and sexy.

Here's a cute little outfit for daytime wanderings through the local town. The simply but modern design of the vest top will work wonderfully with the more busy, old fashioned print of the shorts - I just adore that high waist. Add some chunky gold jewellery and comfy mid-height wedges and you're all set for a day of adventuring.

Dress  -  Shrug  -  Cut Out Pumps  -  Earrings

I love the nautical look of teaming blue and white, but sometimes when not done in a kitschy cute way that can look a little too middle aged rich lady for my liking. This outfit puts an ethnic twist on the colour scheme mixing beautiful Asian inspired patterns with bright cobalt blue and optical white. Just watch out you don't get those sandal pumps mucky!

Dress  -  Crochet Jacket  -  Wedges  -  Necklace

This is another sexy outfit for a night out, combining the raunchy red of the midi dress with a beautiful black crochet jacket and cut out wedges that echo the style of the jacket. Throw on this fabulous statement necklace and this simple t-shirt style dress is kicked up to maximum glam.

Jumpsuit  -  Kimono Jacket  -  Shoes  -  Necklace

Are you bored of kimono jackets yet? Pah, how could anyone be?! This beautiful blue number is especially stunning and has full length sleeves for when that sea wind sends a chill later in the night. As the jacket is so striking it really need a simply background piece which is why this mesh sleeved jumpsuit is its perfect partner along with the simply white and wood platform heels. Add another spark of glitz and glamour with this long layered necklace and party away into the wee small hours - after all, what are holidays for but to have fun?
