When one has tasted watermelon he knows what the angels eat.

Watermelons! I love them! Second to cherries they must be the kitchiest of fruits and if I spy something with one on I must have it!!!! That being said you can imagine the excitement when I saw the ever gorgeous Marie wearing this dress on her blog a while ago, unfortunately by the time I went to buy the dress from Modcloth it was sold out in my size and I was pretty devastated about it! Thankfully a few weeks ago my other beautiful blogger babe friend Elena said she was selling hers and I leaped at the chance - Elena and I are pretty much the same shape except she has been blessed with bigger boobs. She very kindly got it to me just in time for my holiday and I was thrilled that it was the perfect fit.

I decided to wear the dress on the coolest of the days we were in Greece - it's very well made and is fully lined so definitely not for the hottest of days. It really is beautifully made, there is even lace detailing to the inside hem of the skirt and the watermelon colour is embroidered impeccably with not a stitch out of place. I really love all the pleats added to make the skirt fuller, it really gives you an amazing shape and emphasises your waist a treat! I usually wear a dress size 22 to 24 and this is a 3XL and fit perfectly, so this is the size I'll go for in future when ordering with Modcloth.

Naturally I teamed it with my New Look watermelon clutch and some bright red lippy. When at home I'd definitely wear this with red heels or flats but as we were on holiday I just wore it with my favourite comfy sandals from Yours Clothing.
