Liz McClarnon for Fashion World Swimwear Review - Cherry Print Swimdress and Flamingo Print Swimsuit

Well, this is terrifying isn't it? I never thought that I would post photos in a swimsuit, it highlights all the parts of my body that I'm not exactly thrilled with and the thought of it terrified me. Then I gave myself a bit of a kick, and I went back and read Leah's Love Every Body posts over again and got the confidence boost to take the photos. But back to the reason for the post...

Hopefully you saw my post last week about my whirlwind trip to London to interview Liz McClarnon about her gorgeous new swimwear range and this week I'm doing a little review of two of the pieces!

First up we have my favourite piece from the collection, the super fun cherry print swim dress. Now I have a kind of tricky time with swimsuits as I have am the peariest pear shaped lady ever - I have a really small bust and a big tum and hips so finding something that fits both my top and bottom can be kinda hard. I think with the swimdress I chose the right size, my bust felt safely contained and I think if I had sized up I wouldn't have felt to secure! I think the sizing is true on the swimdress so I'd go for your normal size if you aren't crazy pear shaped like moi.

I absolutely adore the beautiful blue and the cherry print is crazy adorable, it's so nice to find a swimsuit in a bright, bold colour that is available in plus sizes. The fabric is thick and great quality, I don't predict any see through swimsuit issues like you can get with cheaper, poor quality options. This baby will last you well.

Next up I tried the flamingo print swimsuit, again with an amazingly cute and Summery print. This one I needed to size up on, the fit over my tummy and butt (teehee) was fine, but it was far too small on the bust and squished my taters flat. If you are generously proportioned up top, I would definitely size up on this one. But on a big plus side, it has built in cups for extra support and help to get a flattering bust shape and removable straps so if you fancy going strapless and avoid tan stripes you can!

I also tried out this lovely cover-up kaftan from Simply Yours, I really love the gradient and the peachy pink goes perfectly with the flamingo print! The shape is so lovely and flattering and I couldn't help but swish around in it a little when I put it on, it was just the right length on me hitting mid thigh and giving the extra layer of comfort that I'd want when walking around on the beach.

As I've said before I just adore this collection and I can't wait to see the lingerie range that Liz and Fashion World will be bringing out later this year! I'm keeping my fingers crossed for more adorable prints and bright colours!
