Shop Spotlight - Mynt 1792

Hi loves! I don't think I've done a shop spotlight for a while, this one is a doozy! Mynt 1792 is a US based company offering gorgeous plus size styles that I would describe as 'classy streetwear'. They ship to the UK and you can guarantee that should you rock one of their pieces no-one else will be wearing the same thing!

I first found out about them when I spotted the see The Nadia Vinyl Moto jacket above and fell absolutely head over high heels in love with it. I seriously seriously need it in my wardrobe and am hoping I can save up my pennies to get it - it makes me think of this scene from Blade Runner and in my eyes is the perfect mix of crazy, classy, edgy and sexy.

The cropped pink Nicolette Moto jacket is also just gorgeous and is the perfect length for a pear shape like me as it stops just at the top of your waist so as not to restrict your curvy hips. Naturally I adore the colour too as it's a perfect marshmallow shade of pink!

Now the Franceta Convertible Trench is just a genius pieces of design. You can wear it all as one as shown above, seperate the cropped jacket to wear on its own or remove the jacket and wear the vest/dress like underpiece seperately! How fabulously clever!

Again this Allison Zip-off Trench is convertible - just unzip the bottom half and you have a short jacket! I adore the deep berry colour and the gold accents and the echo of the main colour in the wrist zips.

Mynt 1792 don't just do jackets, they also make some very pretty seperates too! I really like the contrasted styles in the Claire Peplum Top mixing 1940's elements such as the bow collar and peplum with a very modern colour block design.

The Dauphin Lace Blouse is also very lovely, it would be perfect for work or going out for a fancy meal with a sexy pencil skirt or some wide legged trousers.

I really wish trousers were my thing, I love what they look like on other people but I hate how they look on me and I just do not feel comfortable in them. I'd love to be able to rock these amazing Edith Sequin Skinny trousers or Leona Lace Trim trousers - they're just screaming to be worn on a night out partying with some killer heels.

I recently tried a leather midi skirt but sadly the pleating at the front just didn't flatter my shape so I'd love to get my hands on this smooth fronted Gwen Faux Leather Skater Skirt - I think it would look much better over my tum and look great with a baggy tee tucked into it.

We all know I love a bit of animal print so naturally I noticed this lovely Sebastian Leopard Pencil Skirt straight away - the mixed textures of the short faux fur and PU accents tip it right into perfect!

Have you ever ordered from Mynt 1792? What did you get?
