Oh this dress is so so sparkly! The photos just can't do it justice. I still can't believe it was only £15.99! What a bargain! I had been looking for something special to wear on my leaving do from my last job but hadn't seen anything that really caught my eye, until I spotted this beauty on Excite Clothing's website. I'm so glad that they were at Plus North as I hadn't heard of them before. Their catwalk show was fabulous and I instantly fell in love with this neon animal print midi dress so headed to the site when I got home intending to buy it, but then got distracted by the glitz of this one!
I was a bit worried that the fabric would be really itchy as I have had shrugs in the same kind of fabric that drove me mad, but the inside of this one was really smooth so didn't irritate me at all. I decided to knock it up another notch by adding a great big brooch and a bold gold and black belt which also helped shape it a little better. My only criticism would be that it is just elasticated at the waist, so it wasn't the most flattering of dresses without something like a belt to help give a more defined waistline.
If you haven't heard of Excite Clothing before I highly suggest you visit their site, it's full of lovely lovely things at amazingly low prices. I'll be making another order for sure come pay day!
