A Chilly Birthday Outing - Twycross Zoo

Last Saturday Pete and I went on a little adventure to Twycross Zoo in Atherstone. His sister Steph and her boyfriend Al had got tickets as a birthday treat for Pete - don't you think trips are a great gift? I whipped up a few sandwiches for a picnic lunch amongst the animals and off we went. Here are some snaps from our day out...

 

 

This beautiful house is set right in the middle of the park. I presume it is used as offices but I think it would make a smashing home - as long as the chimps learn to quieten down that is!
