One thing that I really love about George is the wonderful prints they always have on offer - I realised when I was writing this that I actually have quite a few pieces from George that all have wonderful patterns and colours, unusual pieces that I always get complimented on. I think it's great that a supermarket's fashion brand that has a really accessible price point offers pieces like this as it would be easy for them to just have the same old prints and designs as everyone else, but George really seem to put the work in to have a unique and exciting offer. A prime example is their new season floral collection that this dress is a part of.
This skater dress is from George's plus size range and is available in sizes 18-32. It really is gorgeous, the print is eye catching and unusual and I adore the stretchy textured fabric. I wore it to work earlier this week and got so many compliments and questions as to where I got it. It's true that I'm a sucker for blue as I love how it goes with my hair and skin tone but on another level I really like the use of this colour in a more edgy floral rather than the usual twee white and blue china plate print that has been seen quite a lot over the last year or so (although I like that too to be honest!). Like I said previously I've worn this to work with a smart blazer and knee high boots but my first instinct was to wear it in a more casual look like I have here with my trusty biker jacket, comfy leggings and ankle boots - the perfect outfit for a lazy Sunday wander round town and a few drinks at the local I think!
Again the price of this piece I think is a steal and everything other than the handbag in this outfit is from a high street store so isn't a luxury item. The handbag is a Paul's Boutique jobby and was about £80 so doesn't exactly fit the budget friendly theme, but I couldn't resist using it to bring the blue theme further!
